Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Strategic Development team in Naples, FL is responsible for supporting product development with strategic planning, data analytics and corporate development activities. The successful candidate will perform various projects related to these topics with guidance from the Strategic Development Team. During the Summer Associate program, candidates will interact with all key departments that impact product development. This position will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

To assist team with building a competitor benchmarking database.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identify key competitors by product line.
• Identify key competitor products.
• Collaborate with Market Intelligence team in analyzing competitor product data.
• Read and analyze competitor's analyst presentations and 10ks to identify strategic moves.
• Analyze Pitchbook database data to identify competitor's M & A strategy.
• General support to the Strategic Planning department.

Education and Experience:

• BA Degree required.
• Enrolled in a master’s program required, preferably in Business or Biomedical Engineering. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as a Summer Associate up to six months from their graduation date.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Intermediate to Expert computer skills.
• Be able to follow written and verbal direction.
• PowerPoint applications proficiency a plus.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

• PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel.
• Power BI preferred.
