  • Engineering Rotational Co-op

    Arthrex offers Engineering Co-op opportunities at three of our locations: Naples, Florida, Ave Maria, Florida and Pendleton, South Carolina. Selected students will engage with engineers of different product portfolios to create and optimize manufacturing processes, perform verification and validation activities, develop and implement process fixturing and tooling, and analyze results from data collection systems to better understand the performance of the processes. 

    Manufacturing Engineering (Ave Maria, FL and Pendleton, SC): Throughout this co-op, students will support process engineering teams responsible for Milling, Turning, Finishing, Cleaning, Grinding, Specialty Processing and more! To qualify, students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Rotations are offered January – June (spring), July – December (fall) or on a rotational basis totaling three separate rotations. 

    Design, Test and Project Engineering (Naples, FL): Throughout this co-op, students will support process engineering teams responsible for designing, project management, device testing and more! To qualify, students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Rotations are offered from January – June (spring) or July – December (fall).

     

     

     

  • Packaging Engineering Co-op

    Arthrex offers Packaging Engineering Co-op opportunities at two of our locations including Naples, Florida and Pendleton, South Carolina. To qualify, students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Science or Mechanical Engineering. This program typically runs from January – June (spring) and July – December (fall). 

    Arthrex Manufacturing (Pendleton, SC): The Packaging Engineering team in Pendleton, South Carolina (AMISC) and is responsible for supporting all packaging operations at AMISC. Throughout this co-op, students will prepare, execute and document packaging validations with guidance from the engineering staff. Students will be responsible for performing various packaging test methods (Tensile, Burst, Visual, Dye Penetration) and will be detail oriented in the execution and documentation of these test methods. The individual will work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner. 

    Arthrex Inc. (Naples, FL): The Packaging Engineering team in Naples, Florida supports global product development and sustainability goals with innovative, environmentally sensitive, space efficient and cost-effective packaging that meets industry standards with the combined attributes of quality, usability, protective performance and reliability. Throughout this co-op, students will accomplish this by leveraging awareness of customer preferences, regulatory requirements, sterilization processing and manufacturing process compatibility across all sites, and utilize best practices in rapid development, applicability across product lines, and use of project management tool.

  • Supply Chain Co-op

    Every fall and spring, Arthrex recruits co-op’s to join our Supply Chain team in Southwest Florida. Selected students will participate in a six-month rotational schedule across purchasing, inventory control and production planning to better understand the entire supply chain. Students will engage with cross-functional team members to limit backorders, maintain and review forecast, plan/release work orders and review MRP daily outputs. To qualify, students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Operations Management or a related field. Rotations typically run from January – June (spring) and July – December (fall).
