Arthrex provides a robust internship and job shadowing program for a variety of departments throughout the year. Arthrex offers Engineering Co-op opportunities at three of our locations: Naples, Florida, Ave Maria, Florida and Pendleton, South Carolina. Selected students will engage with engineers of different product portfolios to create and optimize manufacturing processes, perform verification and validation activities, develop and implement process fixturing and tooling, and analyze results from data collection systems to better understand the performance of the processes.
Manufacturing Engineering (Ave Maria, FL and Pendleton, SC): Throughout this co-op, students will support process engineering teams responsible for Milling, Turning, Finishing, Cleaning, Grinding, Specialty Processing and more! To qualify, students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field. Rotations are offered January – June (spring), July – December (fall) or on a rotational basis totaling three separate rotations.
Design, Test and Project Engineering (Naples, FL): Throughout this co-op, students will support process engineering teams responsible for designing, project management, device testing and more! To qualify, students must be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Rotations are offered from January – June (spring) or July – December (fall).
This is an exciting opportunity for graduate students looking to explore a business opportunity at its highest level within the orthopedics industry. The Summer Associate program is offered for our Product Management, Strategic Development and Orthopedic Research departments. Select students will gain the necessary skills needed to potentially transition full-time. This program will typically run from May – August and will be based at our global headquarters in Naples, Florida. To qualify, students must be pursuing a Master’s degree, preferably MBA, or have recently graduated from a Master’s program within six months of applying. Note: Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as a summer associate up to six months from their graduation date.
