Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Strategic Development team in Naples, FL is responsible for supporting product development with strategic planning, data analytics and corporate development activities. The successful candidate will perform various projects related to these topics with guidance from the Strategic Development Team. The individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.

This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:  

To better understand the theories, ideas, and practices of Strategic Planning, Data Analytics and Corporate Development by actively engaging in a "hands-on," work-based, learning experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Completion of a comprehensive guide to Arthrex product lines including competitive differentiation points and key market dynamics.
• Compilation and digitalization of Arthrex project management assets related to Corporate Development.
• Competitive market intelligence analyses, including, but not limited to, market size and other financial assessments, competitive company / technology profiling, and market trend syntheses.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

 Education and Experience: 

• Progress towards a college degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Economics or another business-related field required. A rising senior or recent graduate required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.) 
• Project management experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: 

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction. 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: 

• PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel.
• Power BI preferred.
