Arthrex is actively seeking a Field Logistics Services Inventory Specialist I, responsible for processing all agency consignment orders, inventory goods movement processing, and consignment returns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle consignment order processing and inquiries for specific product lines: Arthroplasty, Distal Extremity and Trauma, Sports Medicine and OrthoBiologics products.
  • Process agency instrument consignment orders and instrument orders qualified as no charge per the BOM, based on Territory Operations Management or Product Management approval.
  • Monitor, organize and resolve all Domestic and Canadian agency emails daily.
  • Identify any issues with order submissions and effectively communicate with the agencies to ensure adherence to Arthrex policy and procedures.
  • Provide support to Global Product Launch team and Territory Operations Management team with shipment of instrument set and implant bank deployments.
  • Communicate with Agency Office Personnel, Territory Operations Management, and other FLS representatives to resolve consignment inventory issues.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to limit backorders while communicating backorder and pertinent information to the agency office personnel.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports for management and agency office personnel.
  • Create reports, provide research and process credit and adjustments for the agency arthroplasty sales orders reconciliation.
  • Process Return Authorizations for consignment products, instrument sets, damaged, obsolete and transition returns.
  • Research agency disputes related to inventory discrepancies, product shipment, billing errors and other similar issues.
  • Work closely with Product Management, Sales and Global Launch teams to deploy new released consignment product for pre-order and controlled allocations.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide agencies with excellent customer service through accurate processing of consignment orders submitted by phone, email or through Arthrex online ordering portals.
  • Process Canadian transactions for consignment and purchase orders.
  • Verify pricing is accurate and report discrepancies to the pricing team.
  • Ensure shipment requests are transmitted accordingly to meet the International Fulfillment team deadline.
  • Monitor, organize and resolve all Domestic and Canadian agency emails daily.
  • Identify any issues with order submissions and effectively communicate to the agencies to ensure Arthrex policy and procedures are followed.
  • Update inventory documents to reflect new changes with products, replenishment forms and Plant Status.
  • Work closely with Territory Operations Management team and Supply Chain to limit backorders while communicating backorder and pertinent information to the agency office personnel.
  • Provide Territory Operations Management support with shipment of instrument sets and implant banks deployment.
  • Communicate with agency office personnel, Territory Operatins Management, and other FLS reps to resolve consignment inventory issues.
  • Provide Product Management with inventory updates with new beta product launches.
  • Provide cross departmental support by processing expired product and complaint product replacements.
  • Communicate with Shipping any pertinent issues or requests to ensure timely domestic shipping.
  • Ensure agency compliance with Arthroplasty ordering requirements.
  • Monitors and maintains implant scrub sheet database.
  • Create reports and provides analytical research for the Arthroplasty sales orders reconciliation.
  • Create Sales Text Reports for Domestic and International products and distribute to FLS and CS International team.
  • Maintain FDA registrations and customer agreements for the OrthoBiologics team.
  • Provide teamwork support to new hires to educate with specific process of product lines.
  • Recognize and identify issues with inventory or product restrictions and report to manager.
  • Handle special projects as needed.

 

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Customer Service and/or Logistics experience required.
  • Experience with data order entry processing preferred.
  • Inventory Management experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical device terms a plus.

  • Working knowledge of large ERP system, SAP preferred.

 

Knowledge:

General knowledge of customer service and computer skills. Experience with SAP preferred. Must demonstrate an attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team and interact with all levels of management.

Ability to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions. Refers to policies and procedures for guidance.

Work is performed under formal direction. Work is reviewed for soundness of judgment and overall adequacy and accuracy.
