Arthrex Manufacturing, Ave Maria, FL. is actively searching for a Maintenance Planner I. The Maintenance Planner I position is the liaison between maintenance, engineering & operations for identifying and correcting maintenance processes, assuring all maintenance work is planned, scheduled, and completed utilizing appropriate resources in accordance with area prioritization requirements and production schedules, and ensuring work is done according to established Maintenance and Quality standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to master all Maintenance Planner Associate responsibilities.
- Supports the execution of maintenance work by receiving, planning, estimating, scheduling and recording required maintenance data.
- Develops routine and complicated maintenance schedules to ensure efficient completion of work orders.
- Coordinates with departments to ensure the availability of equipment and systems.
- Works with Maintenance techs to ensure thorough PM creation.
- Creates necessary additional PM documentation as needed.
- Coordinates transportation and rigging for new and used equipment.
- Aids Maintenance teams in troubleshooting system concerns when they arise.
- Supports Maintenance teams with audit requests.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s degree preferred.
- 3 years of Maintenance/Planning/Inventory Control experience required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
Demonstrated experience with scheduling software gained from within a manufacturing or processing facility.
Ability to work well with all levels of the organization.
Experience with SAP and Documentum preferred.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Previous experience with manual, NC and CNC controlled equipment.
Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic principles.
Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
