Arthrex Manufacturing, Ave Maria, FL, is actively seeking a Capacity Planning Analyst Sr. to oversee the capacity planning function for multiple manufacturing facilities. Coordinates in-sourcing activities as well as outsourcing activities with Master Scheduler and Supply Chain Department to ensure on time delivery of finished goods. Works closely with Product Management and Forecasting to minimize backorders. A Bachelor of Science degree in Business or related field plus 4 years of experience in materials management, supply chain, or engineering field required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors, analyzes, and implements necessary changes in manufacturing resource utilization which include in-sourcing and/or outsourcing of components and finished goods.
- Creates demand modeling scenarios based on changes and new product introductions to simulate infrastructure performance and understand future resource needs.
- Reviews master schedule and work orders, establishes priorities, and revises schedule according to projects, work order specifications, established priorities, and availability or capacity of workers, parts, materials, machines and equipment.
- Analyze & plan forecasted requirements for material and capacity
- Works with INC to create achievable operations plan using S&OP process
- Validate the MRP output within the ERP system prior to releasing the plan to the procurement team
- Conduct weekly sales/inventory/operations planning meeting
- Identify & resolve conflicts with respect to materials & capacity availability
- Work with Product Management, Sales and Planning Team to develop and validate forecasts and demand profiles for each product group.
- Reviews action messages created by the receipt of a purchase order requesting part
- Interacts with customers to adjust and/or provide feedback on delivery date
- Ensures compatibility between SAP and SAP PP/DS Scheduling system
- Compiles reports concerning progress of work schedule attainment/achievement
- Reschedules identical processes to eliminate duplicate setups.
- Supervisory duties: may have direct reports
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business or related field required
- 4+ years in Materials Management, supply chain, or engineering field required
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Ability to perform analytics favoring data visualization.
- Ability to negotiate with outside vendors and suppliers.
- Ability to lead meetings and projects.
- Full working knowledge of materials management systems. SAP Preferred.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
PC spreadsheets, computer software.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
