To support our department Virtual Implant Positioning (VIP) in Munich, we are currently offering a position as

Preoperative Specialist (f/m/d)

Your Tasks

• You are responsible for the processing & segmentation of pseudonymized patient CT scans in 3D CAD software to create preoperative plans 
• Furthermore, you efficiently handle European orders within a global team to ensure the timely provision of preoperative plans before surgeries 
• You are responsible for conducting quality control procedures to ensure compliance 
• In addition, you report progress and status of tasks promptly and act as point of contact for incoming requests or adjustments 
• You work proactively and independently, prioritizing the right tasks, and always keeping an overview. 
• Last but not least, you support our departments such as regulatory affairs, marketing, and product management with technical information upon request. 

Your Profile

• You have a degree in mechanical engineering, biomedical engineering, medical technology, or a comparable education with several years of professional experience 
• Ideally, you have knowledge of industry practices and standards for medical devices, surgical procedures, and instruments 
• Preferably, you have experience in processing CTs, including thresholding, segmentation, and anatomical landmarks 
• Proficiency in using common MS Office programs; experience with 3D CAD software for quality control and product development purposes is a plus 
• You are skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions 
• Furthermore, you enjoy working in an interdisciplinary team as well as with other departments and appreciate a diverse position where you need to think outside the box 
• Excellent German and English skills, as well as a willingness to travel up to 20%, complete your profile
