Summary of Responsibilities:
The overall Goal for the National Sales Manager is to achieve sales goals by increasing market share and maximizing revenue growth through effective management of the Sales and Clinical Nurse teams.
Sales Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies and plans in coordination with the General Manager, SEA.
- Execute plans to maximize sales revenue and achieve targets.
- Create sales forecasts, budgets, and manpower plans.
- Manage daily sales activities and coach Sales Reps.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Lead major negotiations and provide market insights to the General Manager, SEA.
- Strengthen brand awareness and participate in hospital tenders.
- Ensure compliance and organize events.
Clinical Nurses Management:
- Oversee the Clinical Nurse team’s operations and training.
- Allocate Clinical Nurse Specialists to hospitals based on needs.
- Ensure availability of instruments and implants.
- Foster positive customer relationships and ensure compliance.
Customer Management:
- Manage contracts and the customer database.
- Oversee marketing and brand management to increase revenue and market share.
- Develop and implement surgeon training programs.
- Support Finance in maintaining current accounts receivables.
Staff Administration / Training:
- Oversee Sales and Clinical support teams.
- Collaborate with Operations for process improvements.
- Ensure staff receive appropriate training.
- Coach Sales Leads on technical aspects and sales techniques.
- Conduct and facilitate technical training courses.
- Monitor training records for compliance.
- Work with HQ on training materials and implement improvements.
Education and Experience:
- Degree-level education.
- Minimum of 8 years of sales experience in Medical Devices, preferably in Sports Medicine/Arthroscopy.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in leading and managing sales teams.
- Demonstrated experience in training others on products and services.
