The Supply Chain team is seeking an intern to support the Shoulder Supply Chain Team in Naples, FL. The successful candidate will work close with suppliers on past dues, expedites/de-expedites, open order reports review and approve our international orders. The selected individual will also work within the requirements of their tasks to deliver results and communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.

 

This internship will run from January 2022 – April 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 30-40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Main Objective:

To gain an understanding of purchasing fundamentals such as placing purchase orders, working with suppliers on addressing quality issues, creating reporting tools, and expediting/de-expediting products.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with Running Open Order Report.
  • Work with suppliers weekly in prioritizing and confirming deliveries.
  • Rework production orders for Shoulder team.
  • Run past due purchase order report.
  • Assist with release production orders for case sets.
  • Work with the quality inspection team to ensure products meet quality standards. 
  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.


Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Supply Chain. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
