With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Corporate Communications is seeking an Intern to help support the tactical execution of various Corporate Communications projects and initiatives. This role is highly collaborative and requires strong writing and project management skills as well as a general understanding of digital communications best practices and the ability to complete a variety of tasks as directed while exhibiting creativity and initiative.


This internship will run from May 2022 – August 2022. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.


Main Objective:

To learn about the various aspects of communications, with a focus on product-related campaigns, social media, external communications and content creation.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with product campaign deliverables including social media and press releases.
  • Support employee manufacturing communications by maintaining editorial calendars and developing newsletters and emails.
  • Write articles for the employee manufacturing audience to inform and engage.
  • Support cross-departmental content creation and collaboration by facilitating photo and video requests.             
  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.


Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in Communications, Marketing or Public Relations required. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
