Arthrex is actively searching for an Orthopedic Sales Representative for our local market in Naples, Florida, to manage and lead our initiatives with our market leading position in Shoulder, Knee, Hip and general sports medicine. The successful candidate will work with the local sales team and continue to drive our position as a market leader in Collier County. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills along with 2 years or more of related experience are essential for this position. Main Objective:                                           

Works with Naples Sales Manager to:

  • Ensure maximized revenue growth of assigned company products and services through direct management in Collier County. 

●     Establish proper and effective communications with appropriate staff across the company to ensure the proper level of sensitivity to the needs of sales.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1.        Works within an assigned geographic sales and product area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives:

·           Carries out specific plans developed by the Regional Director, Naples Sales Manager and company to ensure revenue growth in company’s products.

·           Manages assigned account activities and sales.

·           Communicates regular field activity to Regional Director, Naples Sales Manager and other internal management.

·           Completes LMS self-education requirements.

3.        Recommends sales programs and training ideas to Regional Director and Naples Sales Manager to address the following issues:

·           New and existing account sales growth.

·           Sales of new and existing products and multi-product sales.

·           Competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.

·           Proper use and level of sales support.

·           Account and Third-party contracts.

4.        Performs sales activities on accounts and negotiates product pricing discounts pre-approved by the Regional Director and SVP of Sales.

5.        This job requires local travel throughout Collier County to the hospitals and surgery centers; there my be occasional work on weekends.


Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 2 years of Arthrex, Arthrex agency, or competitive sports medicine, arthroscopy, extremity, and/or product sales experience required


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Knowledge of company’s products, pricing practices, and selling skills. 
  • Effective management skills with ability to manage the company’s sales operations. 
  • Effective time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organization skills. 
  • Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Professional appearance and presentation required.


Machine, Tools, and or/ Equipment Skills:

Strong knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office. PC’s and various software languages used as required.  Cognos experience a plus. Salesforce.com experience a plus.
