Orthopedic Sales Associate

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education. Arthrex is actively searching for a n Orthopedic Sales Associate for our local market in Naples, Florida, to assist and support the Naples Sales team in our initiatives with our market leading position in Shoulder, Knee, Hip and general sports medicine. The successful candidate will work with the local sales team and continue to drive our position as a market leader in Collier County. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Works within an assigned geographic sales and product area to maximize sales revenues and meet corporate objectives:

• Carries out specific plans developed by the Regional Director, Naples Sales Manager, Senior Sales Associate, and company to ensure revenue growth in company’s products.
• Manages assigned account activities and sales.
• Communicates regular field activity to Regional Director, Naples Sales Manager, and other internal management.
• Completes LMS self-education requirements.

2. Recommends sales programs and training ideas to Regional Director, Naples Sales Manager and Senior Sales Associate to address the following issues:

• New and existing account sales growth.
• Sales of new and existing products and multi-product sales.
• Competitive strategies and targeted sales campaigns.
• Proper use and level of sales support.
• Account and Third-party contracts.

3. Performs sales activities on accounts and negotiates product pricing discounts pre-approved by the Regional Director and VP of Sales.
4. This job requires that a person will travel throughout the territory of Collier County, Florida, on a regular basis and occasionally work on weekends. This position may require about 10% travel outside of the territory.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One year of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Knowledge of orthopedics is a plus.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Knowledge of company’s products, pricing practices, and selling skills. 
• Effective management skills with ability to manage the company’s sales operations. 
• Effective time management, communications, decision making, presentation, and organization skills. 
• Excellent writing, editing, communications, and interpersonal skills. 
• Professional appearance and presentation required.

Machine, Tools, and or/ Equipment Skills:

Strong knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office. PC’s and various software languages used as required. Cognos experience a plus. Salesforce.com experience a plus.
