With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Continuous Improvement team is responsible for supporting improvement efforts within Supply Chain, Field Operations, & Reverse Logistics at both the Arthrex Logistics Center (ALC) and INC. We are searching for an intern who is pursuing a Business or Industrial Engineering degree to support teams located in Naples & Fort Myers, FL. A successful candidate will work within the requirements of tasks, deliver results, & communicate issues in a timely manner. The individual will be involved in collecting and analyzing data (in Excel, Power BI, & SAP) and will support improvement projects across the multiple functions including Supply Chain, Field Operations, Loaners, Reverse Logistics, Territory Operations, Audits, VIP, and Field Logistic Services. In addition to assigned tasks and projects, the individual will also have the opportunity to identify and lead/co-lead an improvement project.

 

This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Learn and support Reverse Logistics with new processes and improvement projects.
  • Support data collection and analysis efforts for new and on-going projects (SAP, Redspot, Power BI, etc.).
  • Lead (or co-lead) an improvement project.
  • Support Field Operations / Supply Chain teams as needed (i.e., ATI Nail Swap, Agency Site Visits, etc.).
  • Support metric development & monitoring for Reverse Logistics & other functions as needed.
  • Attend Internship functions, trainings, or events to learn other areas of the business and network.


Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Business. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training preferred:

  • Project Management.
  • Lean Six Sigma.
  • Operational Excellence.
  • Power BI or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills.
  • Organizations Skills.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
