The Risk Management & Compliance team is responsible for implementation of the Global Risk Management & Compliance Program at Arthrex. We are searching for a Compliance Audit Intern to support one of the functions of an effective compliance program, compliance auditing. A successful candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent writing and communication skills, able to clearly and concisely articulate and deliver audit findings in a timely and accurate manner. Position will require approximately one week of domestic travel each month.

 

This internship will run from May 2025 – August 2025. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Main Objective:

To educate on the compliance risks related to the medical device industry and expose the individual to opportunities for a career in compliance while supporting the department in all aspects of its compliance program, primarily in monitoring and auditing.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing and reporting on audits.
  • Support drafting of policies and procedures.
  • Assist with coordinating live monitoring opportunities and report on these monitoring activities.
  • Provide general support to team as needed.
  • Ability to travel domestically one week per month required.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Progress towards a college degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or Economics required. A college junior or senior preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
