Compensation Specialist II

Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex Human Resources team is growing! We are actively searching for a new team member for Compensation. The Compensation Specialist II will conduct analysis on internal and external salary statistics. Based on the information collected, they recommend, develop, and implement an appropriate employee compensation structure. Additionally, the Compensation Specialist II will partner with the Talent Acquisition team and business leaders on internal and external salary recommendations for new offers and internal promotions as well as internal benchmarking for competitive wages. This position will require three years of experience along with a Bachelor’s degree. Strong communication and computer skills are essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Partner with recruiters and business leaders on salary recommendation for new offers and internal promotions
• Reviews and edits job descriptions
• Assists with compensation market analysis and strategy.
• Advises on compensation structures.
• Completes salary surveys in partnership with 3rd party provider.
• Reviews and approves salary change recommendations.
• Tracking and calculating money owed for terminated employees and those that do not relocate withing timeline on offer.
• Calculate compensation for military employees returning from military leave.
• Support annual merit and bonus recommendation cycle.
• Calculate monthly sales commissions.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of Human Resources or Finance experience required.
• 3 years of compensation experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Advanced Excel skills required.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.
• Excellent verbal, written, analytical, project, research, organizational and interpersonal skills with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors as well as employees and managers at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of the organization.
• Highly discrete individual who can handle sensitive and confidential employee information.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. 
• Strong business technical writing skills and excellent communication/people skills.
