Job title Lead Business Systems Analyst - Windchill Development to work directly with the IT department within Arthrex. The Lead Business System Analyst – Windchill developer will be responsible for configuration, customization and support of the Windchill system. This role will integrate software tools with Windchill to aid Model based definition for use in supply chain. Part of a multi-functional team in IT the role will help enable business processes and establish supporting best practices in engineering product data management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Participate in Requirements gathering session to understand business requirements.
2. Develop system and functional requirements.
3. Configure the system landscape to support the business requirements.
4. Evaluate system schema and data models to perform data migration tasks.
5. Develop customization in a supported programming language.
6. Perform testing and validation of the software to the specifications.
7. Perform and support integrations between PDM and ERP software.
8. Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, and recommendations for technical solutions.
9. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting of issues in PDM software.
10. Up to 20% travel required.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• At least Eight years’ experience within IT or related Engineering support function required.
• Must have a thorough understanding of Windchill PDMLink software.
• Previous experience in Pharma or Medical Device industry would be preferable.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Experience with Windchill or similar PLM software.
• Capable of troubleshooting software issues and debugging software programs.
• Experience implementing software using a client-server communication model.
• Experience with API for customization including REST or SOAP web services.
• Experience in Java programming language and other programming languages.
• Experience in integration of PDM Link to ERP software.
• Understanding of the Windchill object model at both the application and database levels.
• Experienced in the design of custom workflows combined combining with the Windchill API to achieve and enhance the automation of business processes.
• Experience with Windchill Info*Engine to create custom webjects including task invocation over https in order to meet business system integration needs.
• Knowledge of CAD software including Creo and Solidworks is a plus.
• Ability to work comfortably with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.
• Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
