With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Brand Alignment team in Naples, Florida is responsible for supporting all internal and external brand alignment initiatives with a focus on merchandise procured by corporate, Arthrex agencies, international subsidiaries, and the on-site Arthrex campus stores. We are searching for an intern pursuing a Marketing, Fashion Merchandising, or Communications degree to support the Brand Alignment team. The successful candidate will perform various tasks including but not limited to preparing promotional communications for merchandise/store updates, executing pop-up store sales, and assisting with weekly store management tasks with guidance from the Brand Alignment team.

 

This internship will run from May 2023 – August 2023. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Main Objective:

To support internal and external brand alignment initiatives with a focus on merchandise procured by corporate, Arthrex agencies, international subsidiaries, and onsite Arthrex campus stores.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the Jira based “Merchandising and Branded Promotions” portal to review, filter, and resolve (request types include One Time, Uniform, and Ask A Question).
  • Create promotional communications for merchandise and store updates.
  • Execute employee summer merchandise sales.
  • Complete weekly cycle counting, assist with front-end store resets, and assist in store event coverage at the Arthrex Proud store.
  • Assist in functions related to the Arthrex Proud store maintenance and protocols as needed.
  • Audit all Arthrex Proud store barcodes, add family groups in point-of-sale system (POS) to ensure reports are accurate, and add new products to POS.
  • Create organizational structure for Arthrex Proud inventory and sample closet.
  • This is an in-office position located in Naples, FL; it is not a remote position.


Education and Experience:

  • Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Marketing, Communications or Fashion Merchandising. A college junior or senior preferred. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)
  • Customer service and/or retail/merchandising experience preferred. 

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel; SAP ECP; Oracle; Jira; Fax; Scanner.
