Arthrex is actively seeking a Application Analyst II- Engineering Technologies who will work directly with the Engineering departments within Arthrex. This role will provide business application support in a manufacturing environment and help improve the standards and practices followed by the Engineers. Experience with CAD and PDM tools and a Bachelors’ degree will be essential for this position.  Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills and a Bachelors’ degree will be essential for this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Analyze product design process requirements and develop procedures and training specifications.
  2. Collaborate with internal and external technical resources performing technical assistance and training activities for Computer Aided Design as well as PDM technologies.
  3. Ensure understanding of Engineering standard (ASME, ASTM and ISO).
  4. Familiarity with GD&T practices.
  5. Articulate design considerations, trade-offs, benefits, and recommendations for technical solutions with manufacturability and quality in mind.
  6. Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting of issues in CAD and CAE tools.
  7. Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of objectives and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness, flexibility, and innovation.
  8. Up to 20% travel required.
  9. This is an in-office position located in Naples, Florida; it is not a remote position.

 

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering or Technology related field.
  • At least Two years’ experience within a business function required (Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering preferably ).
  • A thorough understanding of basic engineering practices and CAD requirements.
  • Previous position in Pharma or Medical Device industry would be preferable.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Experience with Solidworks Designer, Modeling and Simulation technologies.
  • Capable of developing best practices and troubleshooting modeling issues.
  • Ability to learn Model Based Definition methodology within a global engineering environment.
  • Ability to understand and promote GD&T practices.
  • Ability to work comfortably with Engineering, Manufacturing and Quality teams.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Experience with PDM Link, Creo and AutoCAD is a plus.

 

This is an in-office position located in Naples, Florida; it is not a remote position.
