Arthrex Inc. is hiring a Repair Logistics Technician I at our Logistics Center in Fort Myers, FL To be responsible for coordinating the RMA logistic process of defective material for repair/evaluation and act as main vendor contact to ensure material is repaired in a timely manner. If hired for this position, you will be eligible for a $2,000.00 sign-on bonus (minus appropriate tax withholdings). You will be paid the $2,000.00 during your first pay period.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides support with SAP receiving of defective material for Domestic and International customers.
  • Works directly with Suppliers to implement RMA process.
  • Create and modify Purchase Orders.
  • Monitor vendor repairs/quotes for appropriate actions and timely responses.
  • Repackage devices after Sterilization to send to the vendor for repair.
  • Follows Global Trade standard operating procedures set for International Government regulations/processes.
  • Works with AP to resolve any billing reconciliation via Supplier Workplace.
  • Work with S&R Buyer/Planner to review open PO report to resolve aging items. 
  • Receives and verifies repaired material per department work instructions.
  • Works directly with Reliability to ensure evaluation requirements are being met.
  • Review Agile to determine revision and implementation schedule.
  • Liaises with other internal departments such as: Product Surveillance, Regulatory, Product Management to resolve the proper flow of information between the business and the customer.  Also, escalates potential concerns for investigation.
  • Support department with internal/external audits, NCR’s and or CAPA’s.
  • Work with department to provide and analyze weekly KPI’s.
  • Responsible for supporting new employee training.
  • Works primarily unassisted or with minimal supervision and instruction while performing duties and special projects.
  • Oversees department when needed.
  • Observes all blood borne pathogen and related safety procedures.

 

Knowledge:

  • Basic SAP knowledge preferred.       
  • Knowledge of FDA and ISO regulations preferred.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge required (Office, Word, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of BOM, Revisions, ECO process (Agile).

 

Skills/Abilities:

  • Microsoft Office skills required (Office, Word, Outlook).
  • SAP, Creekside and Quest, Sales Force event management ability preferred.
  • Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.

 

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast paced, multilayered work environment preferred.
  • Experience working in an FDA regulated environment preferred.

 

Discretion/ Latitude: Work is performed under very general supervision. Follows specific, detailed instructions.
