Arthrex is actively searching for a Lab Operations Shipping and Receiving Associate to work in coordination with the Labs Department to support events throughout the Country. This position will assist with procurement of equipment within the SAP environment as well as the day-to-day operations within the department. We are also offering a $2,000.00 sign on bonus (minus appropriate tax withholdings), You will be paid the first $1,000.00 after completing your first 90 days and the second $1,000.00 after completing your first 180 days, if you are an employee in good standing. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the maintenance of the inventory/database in SAP to ensure its status is appropriate to support the demands of the department.
  • Responsible for picking all offsite equipment requests/orders and staging them with the assigned associate for packing.
  • Responsible for the daily washing of all instrumentation as required by policy.
  • Responsible for the collection of all outbound and inbound freight and distribution to the proper person or locations.
  • Procure and distribute all inventory necessary to support the department daily.
  • Develop and maintain exhibit and lab checklists and other reference materials as necessary.
  • Take over duties for any team member during their absence and help team members when necessary.
  • Responsible for daily cleaning and organizing of the department and ensuring a safe work environment.
  • Perform advanced SAP system transactions
  • Obtain fundamental product and instrumentation knowledge.

 

Education/ Experience:

  • High school Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year experience in inventory control preferred.
  • Sit-down PIT experience preferred.
  • SAP knowledge preferred but not required.

 

Skills:

  • Ability to perform general warehouse duties (receive, unpack, arrange, and distribute materials)
  • Preserve safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, staging area, and workstations neat
  • Schedule outbound shipments and coordinate and inspect returns of Lab instrumentation sets
  • Perform fundamental SAP system transactions (print shipping labels, process inbound returns, post goods receipts, create stock bin-to-bin transfer orders)

 

Knowledge:

  • Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts.  Limited knowledge of industry practices and standards.

 

Reasoning Ability:

  • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity following established policies and procedures. 
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
