Location is actively searching for a Supply Chain Data Analyst I to provide analysis and valuable insights to identify improvement opportunities within the department. The Supply Chain Data Analyst will Help evolve the use of data with user-friendly analytical tools, solutions, and dashboards so that relevant information can be maintained and efficiently gathered, shared, and interpreted by Supply Chain teams and their business partners. This is a first shift, 8am-5pm, Monday through Friday position




Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in development and maintenance of reports, dashboards, and applications as well as enhancements to and support of existing metrics/KPI’s
  • Works to become a champion/Power user in the department to help maximize use of analytical tools at disposal by promoting their use to solve business problems and inefficiencies of manipulating large data sets accurately.
  • Assist in data validation and troubleshooting between ERP, analytical systems, and reports/dashboards
  • Assists with creations of job aids, department training and procedure updates
  • Assists with SC CO-OP experience including cross-training where needed, coverage of duties during cross training and rotation gaps, inputs for review of performance, may include some recruitment activities where needed.
  • Works with all Supply Chain teams throughout Arthrex and other departments to review changes, identify master data errors and improvements opportunities.
  • Reviews and assists with annual updates where needed: including but not limited to lot sizing and COO.
  • Works with all departments to identify improved efficiencies through user-friendly analytical tools.
  • Works closely with Master Scheduler to ensure changes to master data are prioritized correctly and completed within allotted time frame.
  • Partners with business process owners to understand problems and improvement needs.



Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required
  • 2 years of data analysis or advanced excel experience preferred
  • Planning/Scheduling/Manufacturing/Forecasting experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • BI/BW or similar software experience preferred


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain concepts preferred.
  • Strong Excel Skills and experience with other Microsoft Office products, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • Team Player, results oriented, self-motivated
  • Strong problem-solving skills to accurately identify problems, issues, and opportunities
  • Detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple tasks within deadlines, demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize workloads for maximum effectiveness.
  • Ability to handle frequently changing priorities and project changes in a professional manner.
  • Demonstrated willingness to continuously increase skillset in ever evolving analytics field.
  • Ability to communicate report and analytical tool user requirements to non-analytical and analytical individuals respectively.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Microsoft Office/Windows. Power Bi, Excel Macros/Pivot tables/VLOOKUP’s preferred.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 


Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
