Arthrex is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively seeking a Project Manager to join its Technical Operations team at our site in Ave Maria, FL. The project management team is responsible for development and execution of cross functional projects to support Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. goals which may focus on cost reductions, insourcing, new product launches, cycle time improvements, scrap reduction, material flow optimization, or general process improvement. Excellent communications and analytical skills, strong technical project management skills will be essential for this position. Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

  • Manages enterprise wide and sometimes global projects and programs within the scope of the Solutions Delivery.
  • Facilitates of medium and large scale projects and programs with full project life cycle management
  • Presents and is accountable/responsible for the success of projects within the scope of overall program.
  • Communicates program/project status to key stakeholders and senior management of overall status against constraints (scope, cost, and schedule)
  • Responsible for financial aspects of assigned projects including KPI reporting relative to project progress.
  • Applies Organizational Change Management methodologies
  • Coordinates of interactions between Business Analysis (Business Relationship Management) and Platform/Development (Supply side Centers’ of Excellence) and Infrastructure teams to ensure ongoing visibility to issues and tradeoffs relating to resources and technology
  • Partners with leadership to ensure the Mission/Vision of the Solutions Delivery is achieved and infiltrated throughout the organization.
  • Participates in strategic planning sessions with both client and management to determine the scope and objectives of each project.
  • Applies knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile (SCRUM), and Six Sigma (Lean) methodologies and software practices as required.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/MIS/Business Administration required
  • MBA preferred
  • 5 years of project management utilizing project management methodologies in successively more responsible leadership roles required
  • Prior experience leading global, enterprise-wide implementations involving implementation partners preferred
  • Prior Experience in SAP and Oracle a plus


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • PMP cerification strongly preferred.
  • Six Sigma certification is a plus.
  • Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
  • Strong negotiating, influencing, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to build, nurture, and maintain relationships with all levels of the organization from IT staff to senior/executive management.


Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PCs and have a command of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word plus any additional communications equipment as needed.


Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.


Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
