We are actively searching for a Supervisor, MarCom LATAM to collaborate and energize with the team to drive business results. Under Product Marketing Senior Manager’s guidance, they will lead, plan, and execute downstream marketing and communications campaigns to showcase Arthrex LATAM by leveraging the organization strategic pillars of product innovation, medical education, and scientific research.

 

This position will focus on positioning the brand and business internally and externally across the LATAM region to build brand awareness. Through setting of strategic marketing communication plan, the incumbent will deliver on messaging metrics and objectives to successfully support commercial operations and organization with a communications and digital strategy.  This position will be located at our corporate campus in Naples, FL. Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™. 

 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Works with a high degree of independence and without significant direction, translates market insights and challenges into marketing strategies, programs/campaigns in collaboration with product marketing medical education and commercial teams. 
  • In partnership with country leadership, commercial and regional product marketing teams develops and implements communications strategy and marketing campaigns & programs to launching new and innovative products and bolstering the Arthrex brand and market presence of our existing portfolio.
  • Collects and analyzes market insights and works with product marketing and sales to develop market strategies to enhance the Arthrex business.
  • In collaboration with product marketing provide direction on the design and implementation of promotion and customer communication materials to ensure consistency with customer’s needs and overall Arthrex LATAM strategy.
  • Works with regional product team members on promotions and registration pushes through different communication channels, including social media sites. Accountable for writing, translating, and ensuring the latest content is posted in a timely manner to engage business partners and surgeon customers.
  • Ensures that all brand and marketing related content are current and consistent with the most recent information and assets from corporate headquarters across digital platforms and social media.
  • Reviews and communicates campaign messaging and strategy regularly with the stakeholders for key initiatives. Ensure these campaigns reach targeted customers as programmed, both directly and through Arthrex’s distributors.
  • Develops and coordinates with corporate the production of marcom related materials to support Subsidiaries and Distributors in tradeshows and conferences such as banners, advertising, etc. 
  • Owns the marketing collateral approval process via the marketing management system (MRM) to ensure adherence to the brand guidelines in all communications and that all marketing approvals required are met.
  • Serves as a point of contact to support LATAM subsidiaries and business partners with marketing-related content hosted on platforms such as Arthrex Rep app, Surgeon Vault, Arthrex.com, etc.
  • Fosters trusting relationships and liaison with the Digital Assets Management (DAM) corporate team to maintain the LATAM catalog, managing asset transfers necessary for supporting regional products, sales and growth initiatives.
  • Proactively leverages new marketing assets and coordinate with the Global Language Management (GLM) team on translations in Spanish and Portuguese.  Accountable for translation revisions, edits, and proofread before communication pieces are ready for approval and distribution.
  • Identifies and develops compelling success stories in collaboration with teams across the region for both internal sharing (Intranet posts, newsletters) and external communications (emails, social media) to enhance employee engagement and keep the organization updated. 
  • Owns and maintains customer database and communications campaigns via CRM.
  • Evaluates communication and documentation programs and support tools for effectiveness through customer and sales force feedback as well as objective research.
  • Monitors and analyzes indicators of business performance as well as ROI of marketing activities such as open rates, touch points, brand recognition.
  • Executes upon investment decisions defined by product marketing and commercial leadership team for participation in medical education society meetings and congresses that best support the region’s business objectives. Includes calendar management, sourcing and negotiating, administrating required providers. Reviews and approves management and organization of these events. 
  • Prepares reports, forecasts and budgets as required.
  • Educates LATAM team members on policies and processes related to marketing and communications with empathy, transparency, and respect, ensuring alignment with other regions.
  • Leads and empowers a team of professionals, motivate them through continuous quality conversations. Upholds and instills Arthrex LATAM values and core competencies. Continuously builds on team members functional knowledge and leadership capabilities required to drive high performance and development via coaching and feedback, field mentoring, formal education or other personalized training methods. Align business objectives and conduct performance reviews on schedule, following human resources guidelines.

 

Education and Experience:

  • BS degree in business, communications, or marketing required
  • 5 years' experience in communications and marketing experience required
  • Experience in medical device industry in the Latin American market strongly preferred.
  • Must have proven experience managing a team of remote professionals.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Excellent written and verbal English, Spanish and Portuguese skills is required.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Power Point, Excel, Word, Outlook, and various and specialized software.
