** Hrs of Operation: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm / Training Period 8:30 am - 5:00 pm**

 

Main Objective: 

The Field Operations Loaner Material Handler role is responsible for the receipt, sterilization, and prioritization of surgery-used loaner instrument kits, as well as, coordinating the transactions and movements of the loaner sets through the operations processes to ensure the kit is accurately assembled and repackaged in acoordance with Arthrex standards in order to re-ship to the field. 

 

Essential Functions: 

 

  • Perform activities related to the receiving, cleaning, decontamination, and sterilization of loaner devices. 

  • Assist with the proper processing of loaner sets and associated sterilization processes and validations in accordance to procedures. 

  • Prepare devices for review as part of sterilization and/or cleaning validation. 

  • Provide assistance with cleaning and sterilization process monitoring activities.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. 

  • Associate’s Degree preferred. 

  • Experience with material and handling and processing  working in a medical device industry  or equivalent experience preferred. 

  • Experience with SAP preferred.

Physical Demands: 

The employee is frequently required to stand; use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. To bend frequently and lift 20-30 lbs on a regular basis.  Visual acuity is necessary to do the job safely and effectively.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
