Main Objective:
This internship will work across the various Asia Pacific and Southeast Asia regions to assist various team members in generating dashboards and reports, reviewing accounting processes and assisting in ad hoc projects. The role will help in general finance activities across the close process, processing of expenses and analysis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial reporting and analysis: Assist in developing, building and disseminating financial dashboards and management reports
- Internal Controls: Assist in performing internal control testing and compliance checks and creating internal control self-assessment frameworks
- Special projects: Document finance processes across the region, help to review processes around expense claims

Education and Experience:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business administration.
- Strong understanding of finance and accounting concepts
- Prior internship experience in Corporate Finance, Big 4 or any MNC is preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Strong spoken and written command of English
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and meticulous
- Good written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
- Basic level Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Word, Visio or Lucid Charts.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.
Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
