This individual will be responsible for leading their team to rapidly develop, implement and improve capable and cost-effective manufacturing processes that produce quality products. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and utilize systematic and comprehensive methods and tools to accomplish objectives

f. Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Inspection, and Control
g. Process and Measurement Capability
h. Process Control
- Deploy techniques to “get it right” the first time
- Base conclusions on analytical methods, rational logic, and critical thinking skills
- Leverage Project Management tools to establish a plan and deliver reliable, predictable results
- Seek, identify, mitigate, and control sources of equipment, process, operator, and measurement variation
- Identify and control through sound engineering methods and techniques process inputs, characteristics, and parameters that significantly influence process outcomes
- Acquire awareness and knowledge of new and advanced manufacturing technologies
- Ensure compliance within functional area and support the compliance objectives of the organization as a whole.
- Establish a customer focused approach; external and internal customers
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent Arthrex experience required
- 7 years Manufacturing Engineering/Manufacturing Operations experience required
- 3 years supervisory or management experience required
- Medical Device Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Full working knowledge in Design for Six Sigma, and Lean Six Sigma Manufacturing Techniques.
- Demonstrates process improvement skills.
- Demonstrates strong computer skills.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
- Knowledge of all manufacturing machines.
Language and Communication Skills:
- Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.
- Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.
- Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
