The Arthrex Manufacturing plant in Pendleton, SC is seeking a Manager for Talent Acquisition who delivers strategic, business-aligned HR support by providing effective sourcing and staffing solutions tailored to organizational needs. This position is accountable for managing and leading the manufacturing recruitment function and continuous improvement of recruitment and selection processes. The successful candidate will have eight years or more of recruiting experience with people leadership responsibilities along with a bachelor’s degree and experience with recruiting systems. Manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Hires, develops, and manages recruiting team employees. Implements and manages efficient work processes and ensures technology is fully utilized to further enhance efficiency, quality and type of staffing services offered.
- Develops and manages efficient and cost-effective sourcing, recruitment and selection services throughout the Arthrex Manufacturing organization to attract highly qualified employees to Arthrex. Ensures up-to-date compliance with all employment laws.
- Responsible for the staffing of exempt and non-exempt positions on a timely basis. Reduce recruitment turnaround time to ensure timely placement of candidates for open positions.
- Manages recruitment related issues; provides support to and coaches client management in assessing organization and department staffing requirements and growth needs.
- Identify, develop and maintain productive relationships with key candidate sources (as necessary) including on-line searches, external job postings, ads, educational institutions, professional associations and publications, employment agencies and search firms, networks, publications, media professionals, and professional and diversity organizations.
- Review applications to identify candidates who best meet eligibility requirements. Pre-screens candidates by phone and in person as appropriate.
- Responsible for effective communication, promotion, compliance and, well-documented procedures surrounding the company’s EEO and diversity efforts.
- Ensures well-documented policies and procedures are maintained, revised and communicated.
- Assists with consulting and support of employee career developmental initiatives.
- Educates managers on hiring techniques and legal issues regarding hiring practices.
- Works on recruiting reports and metrics and analyzing hiring trends.
- Ensure compliance within functional areas and support the compliance objectives of the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree required. Master’s degree and/or PHR preferred.
- Eight years of experience in the recruiting function required.
- People leadership experience required.
- Experience with full-cycle, high volume recruitment required.
- Specific expertise in the areas of sourcing, recruiting, and relationship management required.
- Highly developed interviewing/behavioral assessment techniques, creative sourcing experience required.
- Broad knowledge of HR disciplines and practices, including employment laws.
- Strong sourcing skills using various channels like social media and professional networks required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Requires an extremely perceptive person capable of relating to individuals at all levels.
- Ability to design and implement efficient workflow processes and structures.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and relationship management skills
- Demonstrates the ability to think creatively, embrace change, and propose innovative solutions that align with evolving business needs.
- Strong sales/negotiation/ consultative skills.
- Ability to multi-task within a deadline-oriented environment
- Possess a sense of urgency to understand and meet customer needs.
- Experience creating and analyzing reports.
Technical Skills:
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- ATS experience required. Experience with Success Factors is a plus.
