With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics.  The Sterilization Sciences and Biological Safety (SSBS) team located in Naples, FL is responsible for the global sterility assurance and biological safety programs. We are searching for an intern pursuing a Biology or related science degree to support the SSBS. The individual will be supporting the sterilization sciences team on projects for new product development and/or sustaining the existing product portfolio. A successful candidate will be detail oriented and will deliver results/communicate issues in a timely and accurate manner.

This Internship will run from May 2026 – August 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

Obtain experience within the sterilization discipline. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support product lifecycle data entry.
• Update and improve training curricula/role responsibilities.
• Assist with quarterly audit program, monitoring of sterilization families.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Enrolled as a full-time junior or above pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Natural Science (i.e Biology, Microbiology or Chemistry) or recent graduate required.
  (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required.
• Prior experience with technical writing required.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
