Title: Family Office Investment Analyst I

 

 

 

 

Krisdan Management is the private investment office of the family behind Arthrex, a global leader in medical device innovation.  Based in Naples, Florida, our family office manages a diverse portfolio of private and public investments across multiple industries and asset classes.  We are seeking a well-rounded, analytical team player to join the family office as a Junior Analyst.  This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a broad range of investment and operational initiatives-combining elements of private equity, venture investing, and public equity research within a significant family office.  We value individuals who approach their work with humility, take pride in supporting team success, and are eager to roll up their sleeves wherever needed.  The ideal candidate has strong analytical rigor, excellent time management and organizational skills, and is comfortable managing multiple priorities with professionalism and discretion.  

 

 

Main Objective:
The family office manages a portfolio of private investment, fund investments, and public equity investments. The Analyst’s role is primarily to work with senior investment team members to help investigate and manage investments in private and public markets. You will support all functions of the investment team. You will analyze industries, businesses, and investment managers through in-depth research and financial analysis to help evaluate and manage investments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Conduct in-depth industry and company research to support investment ideas across public equities, direct private investments, and fund investments.
•Assist with due diligence by reading and summarizing key takeaways from company filings, third party reports, transcripts, and news.
•General investment team administrative support such as maintaining and organizing investment files (SharePoint), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools, and performance dashboards.
•Support generalist coverage across a variety of industries; maintain awareness of market developments relevant to current holdings and watchlist names.
•Analyze and maintain valuation work (e.g., comparable sales analysis, DCF model updates, etc.) and monitor ongoing developments for the firm’s investments.
•Support the portfolio management for existing investments by producing regular updates on performance, KPIs, outlook, key risks, and valuation.
•Collect and input investment information to maintain clean and current portfolio dashboards, performance summaries, and internal reporting packs.
•Assist with investment and risk reporting by ensuring data integrity, consistency, and documentation organization.
•Track portfolio-level items across entities/managers/partners, and help maintain periodic performance tracking and benchmarking as requested.

•Liaise with Accounting and Operations to provide investment-related data and details needed for internal reporting and processes.
•Provide general support on special assignments and administrative tasks as needed.
•Work travel would be minimal.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required.
• 1+ year of relevant experience preferred (public equity or private equity investing)


Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
• A positive attitude, willing to roll up their sleeves, takes on whatever needs to be done, and contributes constructively as a team player.
• Fundamental understanding of finance and accounting. Can understand and explain balance sheets and income statements
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel. Financial modeling experience is a plus.
• Highly adaptable with excellent time management. Meets deadlines.
• Excellent listening skills, writing skills, and oral communication skills.
• Strong interest in investing, financial markets, and wealth management, coupled with a desire to learn and develop new skills.
