Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. Arthrex is actively searching for a student pursuing a degree in Bioengineering or Biomedical Engineering to support the Design Quality Engineering (DQE) team in Naples, FL.  The DQE team provides expertise in risk management, product quality, process control, verification & validation (V&V), and continuous improvement. The individual chosen for this position will assist in these activities under our Orthobiologics/Vet vertical.  Join our talented team at a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™.

This co-op will run from July 2026 – December 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work 40 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

Main Objective:

Support the Design Quality Engineers within the Orthobiologics/Vet vertical.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate and support Design Quality Engineers with project analysis, including reviewing data as well as generating reports. 
• Review process flow charts and interact with various cross-functional teams to establish processes.
• Support DQEs with change request/change notice reports, providing feedback/recommendations for rejection/approval.
• Support marketing project initiation gap analysis. 
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Enrolled as a full-time student pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering or bioengineering required.  Senior preferred.
  (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Ability to effectively communicate, oral and written, and possess the ability to work through technical issues.
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite experience preferred.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

• Knowledge of surgical equipment/instrumentation and mechanical testing equipment preferred.
• Prior experience with CAD, such as SolidWorks, required.
