| Title: | Corporate Operations Specialist |
Arthrex is a global medical device company and leader in orthopedics medical education. With a corporate mission of Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™, Arthrex has pioneered the field of arthroscopy and develops more than 1,000 innovative products and procedures each year that support all aspects of orthopedics. The Legal department is based in Naples, Florida and includes a team of varied legal professionals. Arthrex is actively searching for a Corporate Operations Specialist to join the Legal team.
Main Objective:
Responsible for identifying Corporate Legal Team's operations solutions and processes including handling sensitive legal and corporate documents and contracts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, and provide feedback on legal policies and documents managed by the Corporate Legal Team.
- Assist with schedules, organization of corporate team and process for both internal and external engagements, including but not limited to coordination of domestic and international travel arrangements for the Corporate Deputy General Counsel.
- Demonstrate effective time management to successfully execute assignments from the Corporate Legal Team, ensuring high-quality deliverables are completed within strict deadlines.
- Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, presentations, and reports.
- Conduct review of basic agreement terms, identify and flag non-standard, and escalate to the appropriate Corporate Legal Team member.
- Responsible for contract management of Corporate Legal Team agreements, including the initial request, preparation, and review of contracts, matter type designation, signature process, entry into electronic contract system, and the generation of reports for departmental leaders. .
- Develop, organize, and implement process improvements and operational efficiencies for the Corporate Legal Team to enhance workflow.
- Draft and distribute internal communications on behalf of the Corporate Deputy General Counsel and Corporate Legal Team.
- Foster strong working relationships across departments to enhance collaboration and support the operational effectiveness of the Corporate Legal Team.
- Some travel may be required to support certain Corporate Legal Team meetings or project-related activities (approximately 10%).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional certification required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in the corporate field (or equivalent experience), legal, finance, sales, or other corporate environment.
- Experience in reviewing terms and managing contractual terms across agreements.
- Experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or other healthcare environment preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Excellent verbal, written, analytical, project, research, organizational, and interpersonal skills with a sharp attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines. Strong follow through skills are important.
- Ability to work independently and interact with all levels of management.
- Highly discrete individual who can handle sensitive and confidential information
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, proofreading and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
Expert in Microsoft PC based programs (MS Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Project), fax machine, laser printer, scanner, copier, telephone.
