Main Objective:

Contributes to Arthrex Experience, by providing exceptional customer service to all of our internal and external guests that visit our Global Naples Headquarters store and beverage areas. This is accomplished by providing prompt and friendly service, maintaining high quality functional area from cleaning, organization, and following standards and protocol set in each area. These area include but are not limited to a retail store, a smoothie bar, and coffee bars.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Represents Arthrex brand to internal and external guests that visit their functional area.
  • Provides an overall exceptional customer experience, while demonstrating a positive attitude.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively evaluate the environment to clean and organize the space/equipment to make front facing and back end areas as functional as possible.
  • Must distribute and/or produce beverages, food, or merchandise dependant on the functional area placed to maintain.
  • Must maintain inventory of product within the functional area and follow protocols, procedures, and evaluate with a goal for continuous improvement.
  • Supports backend maintenance which can include ordering supplies, auditing inventory, adhering to any other maintience activites necessary to the functional area.
  • Operate with the POS system (back and frond end), to maintain product additions, pricing, discounts, and apply barcodes, tagging to product when necessary.
  • Support the maintence of the Arthrex gift card program forward facing and backend processes as needed.
  • Create seasonal promotions and/or build customer engagement through various initatives.
  • Maintain all digital communications for functional area and any and all advertisements for space.
  • Collaborate with various departments including Corporate Communications and Marketing to promote and create adverstisements.  
  • Will be cross-trained to collaborate in other functional areas to ensure back-up coverage can be provided in any area needed.
  • Ability to self-motivate, initate conversation, connect with customers and act with integrity and honesty.
  • Cross-collaboration with Marketing and Wellness leadership to cross-train in all onsite functional areas.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

    • Quick learner w/ability to navigate efficiently and effectively across multiple applications and systems.
    • Able to courteously and professionally handle customer interactions, issues, and concerns.
    • Self-starter with ability to perform in fast paced environment, able to prioritize and manage daily workload, while meeting customer needs.
    • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to mange multiple responsibilities concurrently. 
    • Excellent oral communication skills, interpersonal, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
    • Intermediate written communication skills.
    • Disciplined to operate with the highest level of confidentiality and integrity.
    • Basic understanding of how to maintain and run each functional area. 
    • Basic understanding of any outside and company  regulations and standards relevant to the functional area.
    • Basic knowledge of equipment and function of systems and operational technique to the functional area. 

 

Discretion/Latitude:

• Work is closely supervised

• Follows specific, detailed instructions

• Develop the ability to self-review work for detail accuracy, consistency, and meeting objectives of the functional area.

• Ability to document accurate notes in orders, referencing policies and procedures for detailed instructions.

 

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required 

• 1-year experience of sucessful customer service required

• 1-year experience of restaurant/culinary, smoothie bar/coffee, or retail required 

• Bilingual with fluency in Spanish preferred 

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: 
General knowledge of apparel/merchandising equipment and their processes, functions, and operational technique.

 

Reasoning Ability: 
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement, collect and analyze data, and develop solutions or processes accordingly. Ability to interpret numerous and extensive technical instructions, while understanding the abstract and concrete variables, and their impacts.

 

Mathematical Skills
Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.  

 

Language and Communication Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
