Arthrex’s Human Resources team has an opportunity at our Naples campus for a Benefits Administrator III position. This position will assist with the administration of benefits for Florida, California and Canada campuses. The Benefits Administrator III will also assist with the research of new benefits programs, provide recommendations for improving existing programs, and monitor benefits administration for all employees. Excellent communications, technical and analytical skills, four years of benefit administration experience within a corporate Human Resources team and a Bachelor's degree will be essential for this position. Experience in HRIS and MS Office required. Flexibility to travel to campuses is necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicates and explains information related to a variety of benefits to all employees.
  • Assist employees with the completion of forms and provides general response to benefit inquiries.
  • Communicates with benefits vendors and third-party administrators.
  • Approves and reconciles benefit invoices.
  • Supports and contributions to annual open enrollment.
  • Contributes to maintenance of benefit process handbook.
  • Ensures compliance with applicable government agencies and benefit offerings.
  • Assist with regular benefit audits.
  • May act as initial point of contact for general HR issues and HR policy interpretation.

 

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance and upkeep of Employee Benefits SharePoint page.
  • Process Years of Service (YOS) award trip requests, cash payouts, trip reimbursements and travel agency taxation.
  • Responsible for managing day-to-day benefit administration for several benefit offerings including medical, dental, life insurance, disability, FSA, and supplemental plans.
  • Coordinate repayment of benefit arrears for employees on leave of absence.
  • May assist with training new team members.
  • Present total rewards package to new hires during NEO.
  • Travel for business needs is required.
  • Assist Benefit Manager with new benefit implementation.
  • Plan, organize and execute annual open enrollment in collaboration with Benefits Manager, Corporate Communications, Learning and Development and other teams as needed.
  • May assist with open enrollment audits and audits during the plan year.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of Employee Benefits SharePoint page.

 

Education/ Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of four years of benefits experience within the Human Resources discipline required.
  • Experience with SAP is a plus.

 

Skills: 

  • Ability to effectively manage one’s time and handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.  
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office programs required.  
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly to perform most job functions.
  • Ability to communicate ideas, results, recommendations, and status effectively in oral and written forms. 
  • Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Basic knowledge of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files
  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
  • Presentation skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process change efforts.

 

Knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge of benefits.
  • Basic knowledge of general Company HR policies.
  • Knowledge of benefit best practices.
  • Advanced knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Short Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD).

 

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgment and reasoning required.
  • Ensures solutions are consistent with Company HR policies.
