| Title: | Benefits Administrator I |
Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The HR team is expanding on the Naples campus and adding a Benefits Administrator I to the team. This position will assist with the administration of benefits for all U.S. Arthrex companies. The Benefits Administrator will deliver quality customer service while supporting the administration of benefits programs, assisting with research on benefit offerings, and helping maintain employee benefits records and processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strong interest in benefits, a bachelor’s degree, effective communication and technical capabilities, and solid customer service and presentation experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicates and explains information related to a variety of benefits to all employees.
- Assist employees with the completion of forms and provides general responses to benefit inquiries.
- Communicates with benefits vendors and third-party administrators.
- Approves and reconciles benefit invoices.
- Supports and contributions to annual open enrollment.
- Contributes to maintenance of benefit process handbook.
- Ensures compliance with applicable government agencies and benefit offerings.
- Assist with regular benefit audits.
- May act as initial point of contact for general HR issues and HR policy interpretation.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage HR Benefit Team shared Inbox.
- Assist employees with questions regarding HRIS system.
- Review and process all benefit forms in HRIS system: Benefit Reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement Application, and Add Individuals to HR Record.
- Review and respond to tuition reimbursement program approvals and questions.
- Manage and distribute New Hire Benefit enrollment emails.
- Assist new hires with benefit enrollment process.
- Process all Qualifying Events in HRIS system and assist with employees’ questions pertaining to the change in coverage.
- Process voluntary life insurance changes in HRIS system.
- Manage discounts section of Employee Benefits SharePoint page.
- May assist other Benefits Administrator levels with Processing Years of Service (YOS) award trip requests
- Responsible for filing benefit documentation.
- Present total rewards package to new hires during NEO.
- May travel for business needs
Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Experience in Human Resources preferred.
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
Skills:
- Ability to effectively manage one’s time and handle multiple priorities simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office programs required.
- Ability to learn new systems quickly to perform most job functions.
- Ability to communicate ideas, results, recommendations, and status effectively in oral and written forms.
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
- Presentation skills required.
Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of benefits and/or general HR. Basic knowledge of general Company HR policies.
- Basic knowledge of Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Short Term Disability (STD) and Long-Term Disability (LTD).
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality and exercise good judgment and reasoning required.
