The Data and Analytics Center of Excellence in Naples, Florida, is responsible for supporting the use of data and analytics globally, including employee upskilling and education. We are seeking a dynamic and resourceful intern to join our Data, Digital, and AI Literacy Programs. This role involves facilitating online education, communications, and events for our technical and non-technical Communities, developing engaging micro-learning modules and how-to documentation, creating insightful blog content, and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess an excellent understanding of the modern digital landscape, communication skills, a knack for creative writing, and a passion for stakeholder engagement and change management. They should have a creative and continuous improvement mindset.

 

This internship will run from January 2026 – April 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 20 hours per week at our Naples, FL facility.

 

Main Objective:

To support and enhance the Data, Digital, and AI Literacy Programs at Arthrex, Inc. by facilitating community engagement, creating educational content, conducting workshops, supporting stakeholder relationships and driving continuous improvement. Effective communication in addition to technical skills is key to these efforts and to help grow the data culture at Arthrex. ensuring that employees are well-informed, engaged, and empowered to utilize data effectively in their roles.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Viva Engage Communities: Facilitate both technical and non-technical communities. Conduct workshop/meeting/event planning along with members of the communities, assist with starting new communities along with growing existing communities.  
  • Data & Analytics Blog: create a backlog of blog article topics based on needs of Data Literacy and AI Literacy programs and topics that are deemed important by the technical and non-technical Communities’ members, work with subject matter experts to understand the topic, write and publish blog posts on regular cadence.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Organize meetings as needed to support the Data, Digital, and AI Literacy programs, assist with needs assessments and gap analysis interviews, create documentation on interview results, work with Program Lead and Stakeholders to define future state goals and road mapping. Help grow strong relationships between the various business stakeholders and the Literacy programs.
  • Educational Support: Maintain a backlog of needed micro-learning modules and how-to instructions to support the Literacy programs, technical education programs, and Viva Engage Communities. Work with subject matter experts to create video overviews, step-by-step instructions, checklists and similar documentation. Maintain and update existing modules as needed.
  • SharePoint: Maintain and update the Engage Community SharePoint sites as needed at the direction of the Program Lead or other director or managers.
  • Communications: Support the Literacy Programs and Viva Engage Communities in executing the Communication Plan. Create emails and other types of communications, develop surveys/questionnaires/assessments based on requirements provided by Program Lead or gathered directly from stakeholders, work with Program Lead and partners at OCM and Internal Communications.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, Communications or Public Relations. A college junior or above preferred. (Recent graduates must be within six months of their graduation date to qualify.)
  • Experience with change management preferred.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Professional written and verbal communication is highly preferred.
  • A general understanding of AI technology and the modern digital landscape, including tools and technology such as Power BI and Power Platform preferred. 
  • Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
