Arthrex is actively searching for a Returns and Repairs Coordinator to coordinate returns to the US, receiving product from the field, and maintaining the repair pool. In this role, the incumbent will interact with the SEMS ticketing system, the returns cockpit in SAP, and will stage & process domestic and international customer repairs/replacement shipments. This individual must reside in the London, Ontario area. 

 

Hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Returns

  • Communicate with Warehouse staff for receipt of inventory.
  • Label boxes received each day with the corresponding days sticker.
  • Process returns in a timely manner – within 48 hours.
  • Utilize the returns cockpit to carry out returns in SAP.
  • Ensure products are in a sellable condition. Advise appropriate personnel of any unapproved/ineligible returns.
  • Analyze and make recommendations to reduce, optimize and control warehouse inventory levels while meeting business requirements
  • Return product to shelf following the FEFO rule.
  • Assist with warehouse tasks when required. Act as a backup in other areas of the warehouse when operational needs are required.

Repairs

  • Process Repair returns utilizing the SEMS ticket portal.
  • Communicate with the Product Surveillance team or Service Agreements/Agency any discrepancies on Ticketed returns or returns without ticket numbers.
  • Pick, Pack & Ship replacement items for customers.
  • Document items returned to be disposed of; communicate with Warehouse Leads for monthly pickup.
  • Ensure the repair pool product is stocked according to FIFO.
  • Establish bin locations for new product in the repair pool; maintain current inventory.
  • Stage shipments for return to US Arthrex locations.
  • Process Competitor Trade outs.

 

General Warehouse

  • Operate pallet jack and task support vehicles (i.e. J1 Joey) with a license certificate.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the shipping and receiving area according to the 5S model.
  • Ability to adhere to all health and safety procedures and policies as set out by the company.

Education and Experience:

  • One (1) to three (3) years’ experience in a Warehouse/Manufacturing environment.
  • High School diploma or equivalent years of relevant experience.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Ability to work with people of all levels within the organization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Teamwork oriented, good communication skills
  • Able to work with multiple priorities throughout the day
  • Strong computer skills, previous experience with SAP or an inventory mgmt. system an asset
  • Understanding of courier systems and protocols (e.g., Fed Ex).
  •  Physical ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, climb as well as lift heavy loads.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

General material handling equipment.  Computer literate. Ability to be licensed to operate task support vehicles.

 

 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.

 

 

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  The employee is frequently required to sit; use hands and fingers, to handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.  To bend frequently and lift on a regular basis. Ability to lift up to 70lbs an asset.
