Arthrex Inc. is hiring a Supervisor, Warehouse Operations to work at our Logistics Center in Fort Myers, FL. The hours for this position are Monday through Friday 11:00am – 7:30pm. This individual will be responsible for leading the daily activities associated with the Logistics Center; to include activities of inventory levels along with the control and distribution of finished goods. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•           Supervise, coach, mentor, and train warehousing personnel to:

  • Direct movement of shipments from receiving, inspections, returns, and picking areas to warehouse storage, shipping and/or work areas.
  • Conduct daily cycle counting following proper procedures to keep electronic records that reflect actual inventories.
  • Ensure materials are issued timely and accurately to work orders and supplier returns.
  • Ensure picking, packing, and shipping are performed timely and accurately.
  • Ensure proper labeling for outgoing shipments.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are followed per training and work instructions.

•           Coordinate daily workload and resources.

•           Maintain a personnel structure and staffing level to support customer requirements.

•           Monitor SAP Warehouse Activity to ensure teams meet internal and external customer requirements.

•           Research inventory in SAP, including adjusting orders and correcting inventory errors.

•           Assure material is transferred based upon FIFO and SAP system requirements.

•           Identify obsolete and/or expiring material and take appropriate action.

•           Conduct employee reviews and disciplinary actions.

•           Participate in projects for warehouse that may involve software upgrades, equipment installations, facility relocations or expansions; supports training for new technologies.

•           Facilitate communication and cooperation across the organization to ensure departments and processes collaborate to meet corporate objectives.

•           Facilitate communication with outside service providers.

•           Adhere to procedures for quarantine, hold, rework, primary, secondary and overflow locations along with proper labeling and segregation of product.

•           Facilitate general housekeeping and cleanliness of working area.

•           Compliant and familiar with OSHA and ISO9002 standards.

 

Education and Experience:

•           Bachelor’s degree required.

•           5 years of professional experience managing personnel or projects required.

•           Warehouse, supply chain or logistics experience preferred.

•           SAP WM, IM, Oracle, or other Warehouse System experience required.

•           Experience with picking and packaging systems preferred.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Knowledge of logistics, receiving and warehouse procedures, computer and external recordkeeping and logic skills.

 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Proficient in MS Office tools.  Experience in SAP WM, IM, Oracle, or other Warehouse system, required.

 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
