Arthrex, Inc. is a global medical device company and a leader in new product development and medical education in orthopedics. The Global Trade team in Fort Myers, Florida, is responsible for ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and supporting Arthrex’s global operations. We are seeking a Summer Intern who is eager to learn and assist with key compliance and operational activities. This role offers hands-on experience in global trade processes, including reviews of shipment requests, HR compliance checks, business partner screening, trade data verification, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) activities, and import documentation management. The successful candidate will work closely with the Global Trade team to support daily operations while gaining valuable insight into trade compliance and regulatory requirements.

This internship will run from January 2026 – April 2026. The ideal candidate will have the availability to work at least 25 hours per week at our Fort Myers, FL facility.

Main Objective:

• To provide hands-on learning experience for a summer intern while supporting the Global Trade team with critical compliance and operational tasks, including shipment request reviews, HR compliance checks, business partner screening, trade verification processes, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) activities, and import documentation management.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review and release domestic BSR/shipment requests.
• Review and release HR compliance emails for prospective candidates.
• Review business partner screening and release blocked BP for US.
• Descartes Sanctioned Party Screening data verification for Standard and Premium list upload.
• Free Trade Agreement (FTA) Data Gathering.
• Import documentation management.

Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a related field required, preferably in International Business. (Students who have recently graduated are only eligible to work as an intern/co-op up to six months from their graduation date.)

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

• Experience with MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain preferred. 

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.
