Main Objective: Contribute to enhancing quality of Arthrex’s medical education courses by providing instructions to health care professionals using one’s clinical expertise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current and classic concepts in orthopedics, the Arthrex product line, and clinical procedures.
- Run medical education programs for HCPs, distributors, and Arthrex employees on safe and effective use of Arthrex products and techniques
- Instruct surgeons, business partners and employees on anatomy, surgical procedures and products when necessary.
- Domestic and international travel in support to offsite events or trainings when necessary.
- Ensure that the lab quality represents Arthrex as the leader in the industry.
- Collect and maintain accurate training data in medical education courses
- Coordinate lab schedule with Medical Education Senior Specialist
- Contribute to enhancing quality of Arthrex’s medical education courses with clinical expertise.
- Conduct surgical technique demonstrations in wet or dry lab settings and trainings.
- Communicate with HCPs on training schedules and course details.
- Provide HCPs engaged in Arthrex Korea’s medical education programs with training assets and materials.
Education and Experience:
2 to 4 years of working experiences in sports medicine industry, equivalent degree in medical science, or nurses’ license with experience in OS operating theatre. Experience as PA (Physician’s Assistant) in tertiary hospital OS department preferred.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Ability to logistically manage a lab environment independently.
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Proven ability to demonstrate initiative
- Aptitude to teach and develop orthopedic training skills.
- Great planning and organizational skills
