Your Tasks
- Advise HR and management on German and EU employment law and coordinate labor law matters across EMEA
- You represent Arthrex in German labor court (1st instance) and support employee relations (performance, discipline, terminations, works councils)
- Guide HR in restructurings and reorganizations as well as develop and update labor-law policies and guidelines
- Monitor legal developments and assess business impact alongside training HR and leaders on employment law topics
- Last but not least you collaborate closely with Legal, HR, and Compliance on governance and risk topics
Your Profile
- You are a fully qualified lawyer (1st and 2nd exam) with extensive experience in employment & labor law
- Strong expertise in German employment & labor law representing employers alongside a good understanding of EU/EMEA frameworks
- Proven experience in labor court proceedings with background in multinational environments; HR advisory experience is essential
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills alongside high integrity, independence, and ability to manage complex cross-border matters
- Last but not least, you have fluent German and English skills, experience in both law firm and in-house roles preferred
