This role will ideally suit those who have experience in Orthopaedic / Sports Medicine products or alternatively those who come from an Allied Healthcare professional background such as physiotherapists, scrub/scout nurses, podiatrists etc. Those with a passion for Sports Medicine, Arthroplasty and Trauma products and looking to help educate our customers on our products and procedures will be the key to your success. This role will help to coordinate medical education events which requires attention to detail and event planning and project management. You will be responsible for interacting directly with Healthcare Professionals. Particularly, assisting with their direct Medical Education needs and responsible for ensuring they are provided with appropriate and relevant medical education material to support the Safe and Effective use of Arthrex Products and Procedures.

 

About the Role

In conjunction with our Clinical Medical Education Manager, this position will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the medical education program. You will implement educational and promotional training events and materials, supporting the product development process, and engaging surgeon consultants in the application of orthopaedic/arthroscopic surgical solutions. 

  • Provides support for all Medical Education events such as lab courses, faculty forums and Medical Education corporate events such as Surgical Skills Cadaver Labs, Innovation Courses, Faculty Forums and Medical Education corporate events.
  • Educate on the safe and effective use of Arthrex products and procedure-specific surgical and non-surgical techniques using Arthrex instruments with a strong focus in the Hip and Knee portfolio.
  • You will be responsible in teaching and communicating complex medical concepts related to Arthrex Products and Procedures, ensuring learners gain a thorough understanding of relevant human anatomy, pathoanatomy, biomechanics and pathology classification systems.
  • Be responsible for Lab set up, breakdown and stock management.
  • Raise appropriate purchase requisitions for orders on SAP and work with finance to ensure payment is made in a timely manner.
  • Be responsible for handling documentation in a compliant manner with applicable regulations.

 

About the Requirements

  • Bio-Medical Sciences, Clinical/Medical Industry Experience Required
  • Training in project management or administratively complex duties
  • Proven track record of successful event management or organizational skills in a medical field
