The Regional Sales Associate (RSA) is the right hand to the Regional Business Development Manager (BDM), ensuring the smooth, compliant, and on-time execution of all distributor-led commercial activities across seven markets. Drawing on strong coordination skills and commercial acumen, the RSA serves as the hub between external distributor partners and internal stakeholders (Marketing, Medical Education, Regulatory, Finance, Customer Service, Legal & Compliance). The role supports/owns day-to-day follow-through on business reviews, forecast consolidation, contract lifecycle management, document uploads, and distributor performance tracking—laying the operational foundation that lets the BDM focus on high-level growth strategy.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Distributor Engagement & Support
  • Plan, calendarize, and run logistics for quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and monthly performance calls.
  • Consolidate sales forecasts, pipeline data, commercial plans, product launch updates from distributors; issue pre-read packs and post-meeting action trackers.
  • Coordinate onboarding/training schedules for new distributor personnel in partnership with Medical Education & Sales Training.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Act as point person between distributors and internal functions to ensure timely product registration, tender submissions, and new-product launch readiness.
  • Liaise with Marketing to align local campaigns, congress support, and collateral distribution.
  • Partner with Marketing team on regional workshops, cadaver labs, and surgeon education programs.
  • Maintain a live Contract Lifecycle Tracker—draft, circulate for approval, upload, archive, and monitor renewal dates for distributor agreements, pricing amendments, NDAs, and addenda.
  • Collect and submit due-diligence (DD) and compliance documents; follow up to closure on any outstanding items.
  • Ensure distributor interactions, HCP engagement, sample handling, and expense processes comply with corporate and regional policies.
  • Produce weekly/monthly commercial dashboards covering revenue vs. target, mix, inventory, and registration status.
  • Perform basic financial analysis (e.g., growth %, variance vs. forecast) to support BDM’s strategic planning.
  • Track competitive intel received from distributors and map against market share objectives.
  • Own meeting cadence: send agendas, take minutes, distribute action lists, and monitor completion.
  • Coordinate travel, event logistics, and sample kit shipments for regional training and workshops.
  • Keep central SharePoint/Teams folders updated with the latest contracts, price lists, marketing assets, and regulatory certificates.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related discipline.
  • 2–4 years in sales operations, commercial support, or distributor coordination—preferably in medical devices, pharma, or healthcare. Exposure to multi-country distributor models is highly valued.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, basic lookups), PowerPoint, SharePoint/Teams, Power BI; familiarity with contract-management or CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, DocuSign CLM) is a plus.
  • Fluent English mandatory; proficiency in one or more SEA languages (Bahasa Indonesia, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.) an asset.
