Main Objective:
The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management across Arthrex. The position will formulate partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added services to management and employees that reflects the business objectives and vision of the organisation.
Further, the HRBP will be held accountable to high customer service standards and related metrics that govern the Human Resources Department. The HRBP will perform all duties with tact, discretion and according to confidentiality requirements. The candidate will also perform other related duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
HR Business Partnership
- Support Senior HR Manager with Employment Relations matters including triaging employee inquires and/or grievances and escalating via the appropriate channels if required.
- Provide interpretation and counsel to employees and people managers regarding policies, programs and practices.
- Support the Senior HR Manager to research personnel issues and develop recommendations to resolve people matters.
- Provide people and culture coaching including site visits around SEA to provide ground level support to sites and identify new opportunities to improve overall leadership and team capability and engagement.
- Mentor and coach people leaders in performance and behavioral related issues.
- Assist Talent Acquisition team with recruitment activities when required.
- Assist the Senior HR Manager to administer the annual performance review cycle including goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end reviews, merit reviews and on-going performance conversations.
- Coordinate Staff Recognition Awards (both Service and Values) in conjunction with the Senior HR Manager; administering awards and certificates and keeping an accurate record of these in the archive.
- Maintain a current, consistent and centralised position description database for all Arthrex positions.
- Maintain the HR Drive, revising forms, policies and working documents to ensure relevancy and accuracy.
- Ensure the HR Drive is accessible, and documents can be easily located. Update all current policies and forms on Arthrex’s Sharepoint Portal.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary HR management practices which provide an effective, consistent and timely delivery of HR services to support organisation needs.
- Administer and promote Arthrex’s EAP Service.
- Assist the Senior HR Manager with the administration of training courses and/or events.
- Maintain training matrixes, assign training and maintain a record of training delivered in the training register in Arthrex’s Learning Management System.
- Participate in employee event management/co-ordination where required.
- Under direction from the Senior HR Manager, SEA, undertake local and regional HR project work as directed, researching issues and developing recommendations.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with experience in HR processes, policies, and procedures development
- Strong knowledge of current HR Legislation and labour laws across SEA
- Strong computer literacy using HRIS/Payroll Systems/SAP (desirable)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Proven experience in a HRBP role
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior HR Advisor or Business Partner in a fast paced, multi-site business with exposure to all facets of the employment life cycle
- Strong demonstrated working knowledge of employment relations
- Experience coaching leaders in a range of people related matters and providing individual one-on-one leadership coaching to empower capabilities
- Proven written and oral presentation skills
- Reliable and able to comfortably work within a deadline driven environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Ability to build great relationships with immediate and across other teams
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Strong sense of integrity and confidentiality
