Main Objective:
Oversee daily warehouse operations, including staff management and coordination with departments such as Sales, Customer Service, Finance, Medical Education, Quality, and Regulatory. Manage inventory, loan kits, and logistics activities, working closely with third-party transporters to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. Must be available to support operations after office hours and on weekends (with compensation provided). 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely receipt and put-away of inbound shipments; assign storage bin locations as needed.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, reconciliation with SAP, and variance reporting per SOPs.
  • Handle heat-sensitive materials with care, adhering to controlled storage requirements.
  • Monitor SAP warehouse activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure timely replenishment of consignment items at customer sites.
  • Support warehouse team in resolving issues such as missing items, discrepancies, or system errors.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (Sales, Customer Service, IT, Transport, etc.) to resolve issues and meet operational goals.
  • Inspect returned loaner sets promptly to prepare them for the next case.
  • Track and provide feedback on instrument and BOM usage for optimization.
  • Uphold a safe and compliant work environment in line with GDPMDS and quality standards.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to improve processes, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Support timely transfer of Medical Education stock to the lab.
  • Ensure staff are trained and compliant with operational and safety procedures.
  • Manage 3rd-party transporters to meet KPIs for punctuality and proper handling.
  • Contribute to team projects and perform additional tasks as assigned.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 10–15 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 8 years in a supervisory or management role.
  • Prior experience in medical device logistics is highly preferred.
  • Experience working with third-party logistics (3PL) providers is an advantage.
  • Strong expertise in warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics management.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective warehouse policies and procedures that drive operational excellence.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Proficient PC skills (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Words & Power point)
  • Proficient in SAP preferred
  • Warehouse Management Software
