About the Role
This exciting opportunity has been created to support the continued growth of Arthrex’s Capital Technologies portfolio across New Zealand. Combining commercial responsibility with clinical and technical expertise, you will play a key role in executing Arthrex’s growth strategy, supporting customers, and driving expansion across both established and emerging market segments.
Ideally based in the North Island and reporting to the Head of Capital Technologies NZ, you will lead imaging trials, provide expert clinical and technical support, and manage key customer accounts across the North Island, helping to drive the ongoing success and growth of the Capital Technologies business.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and deliver Arthrex’s New Zealand commercial strategy, supporting business objectives at territory and regional levels.
- Contribute to sales and growth targets through the delivery of expert clinical, technical and account management support.
- Lead and support capital technology trials and product implementation within public and private hospital environments.
- Develop and maintain in-depth expertise across the Arthrex Imaging, Integration and Power Tool portfolio’s, effectively demonstrating the value of our technologies and solutions.
- Provide product education and training to surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals through workshops, in-servicing sessions, and operating theatre support.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of service and support within allocated territory and as required across New Zealand.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
- Contribute to the successful launch and adoption of new technologies through lead generation, trial management, and customer conversion activities.
- Utilise sales enablement tools to identify opportunities, accelerate customer adoption, and drive business performance.
- Provide valuable market intelligence and customer insights to support sales and marketing strategy development.
- Take ownership of ongoing professional development, including product, technical, and account management training.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years’ relevant clinical experience with a strong understanding of imaging technologies (preferred), orthopaedic and surgical products, clinical applications, and industry terminology.
- Experience within a medical device environment preferred, particularly in Clinical Support, Product Specialist, or Sales roles involving imaging technologies.
- Proven ability to educate, train, and mentor healthcare professionals in a clinical setting.
