To support our department Human Resources in Munich, we are currently offering a position as

HR Director EMEA (f/m/d)

As Director of Human Resources EMEA (f/m/d), you will take on a central leadership role in shaping and implementing our HR strategy in the EMEA region consisting of 19 countries. You will act as a sparring partner for top management, drive cultural change and organizational development, and ensure that our global HR policies are implemented effectively and compliantly at the local level.

Willingness to travel: up to 15% internationally

Working model: Hybrid (minimum 3 days per week in Munich)

Your Tasks

  • Leadership and further development of HR teams in several European countries, taking into account local labor law requirements
  • Responsibility for the strategic and operational management and better integration of all HR functions within the EMEA region
  • Establishment and optimization of cross-border HR structures and processes to support EMEA business objectives
  • Working closely with global management and our US American headquarter to promote culture, growth, and transformation
  • Representing pan-European HR interests in global initiatives and planning processes
  • Managing the EMEA HR budget and monitoring relevant KPIs
  • Initiating and implementing measures to increase employee satisfaction and retention and support development of employees and leaders within the organization

Your Profile

  • Advanced academic degree in human resources, business administration, or comparable field
  • Extensive relevant professional experience (10+ years) at director level in an international HR environment as a strategic HR business partner with overall responsibility for multi-regional teams
  • Strong intercultural sensitivity and leadership skills, as well as strategic thinking with operational implementation strength in a fast-paced, growing, matrix-organized environment
  • Proven track record of working with senior stakeholders and management to standardize and professionalize HR processes, taking into account local country-specific and legal requirements
  • In-depth knowledge of all HR functional areas (Total Rewards, HR Controlling, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering) as well as German and European labor law
  • Experience in dealing with European works councils and complex regulatory and legal requirements
  • Business fluent in German and English; other European languages are a plus
