About the Role
This position is pivotal for driving and leading our strategic growth across the ANZ Service & Repair business. The incumbent will be responsible for defining and executing on the long-term goals of the business by making commercially centric decisions while ensuring customer contracts, service levels and over all experiences are in line with Arthrex goals and values.
- Reporting to the Head of Operations ANZ
- Providing leadership, management, and development for the Service & Repair Team members across ANZ
- Coordinating the ongoing training for team members as well as those within other departments across operations
- Identify, drive and deliver service revenue targets with the support of the commercial teams
- Manage and oversee the regional RMA process, customer repair or exchange quotations, and vendor purchase order
- Responsible for end-to-end support of installation planning, installing, upgrading, remediating and providing preventative maintenance of Arthrex medical electrical equipment in house or at customer sites
- Provide technical support and guidance to all service employees as well as customers and Arthrex sales staff
- Oversee scheduling of field/customer facing time for Service team
- Develop and implements service metrics, assess for improvement and implements strategic plans to resolve business, process and customer deficiencies
- Ensure reports include profitability, contract compliance and product performance
- Implement and manage service & repair productivity metrics of RMAs, customer quotations and vendor purchase orders
- Manage and improve procedures to ensure quality of repairs with cooperation of the QA/QC department
About the Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in science degree required; preferably in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
- Previous experience in manufacturing or repair of Medical Devices or related field preferred
- Minimum one year experience or equivalent in the Medical Device industry required
- Minimum three years supervision experience required
- SAP knowledge a plus
- Salesforce or other CRM experience preferable
Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:
- Electronics, optics, instrument, electromechanical equipment trouble shooting and repair
- AS/NZ3551 standards and understanding is a must
- Knowledge of FDA Quality Systems Requirements, ISO 13485 Quality Systems Requirements, ISO 14971 Risk Management Requirements and GMP, Good Manufacturing Practices
- Familiar with Bio-Hazardous material handling, storage and disposal
- Good written and oral English language communication skills.
- Ability to work well within a group environment.
