This role will see you as an integral part in Arthrex’s Preoperative Surgical Planning offering across APAC. You’ll take ownership and lead the 3D CAD modelling of Preoperative planning for implants using CT scans of patient data information. You’ll confidently interact with surgeons, the sales force and other stakeholders across ANZ and Region.

Your strong experience with 3D CAD modelling and ideally a Biomedical Engineer degree, or other similar scientific Degree is ideal.

About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for 3D CAD modelling patient anatomy and generating pre-operative surgical plans for optimal implant placement using Arthrex VIP (Virtual Implant Position) system. You’ll support new product development and maintenance of released products and systems across ANZ/Region.

• Responsible for receiving incoming patient CT scans and other documentation for upcoming surgeries. You’ll use 3D CAD software to create preoperative surgical plans for physician approval.
• Be an integral and foundational team member of Arthrex’s localised APAC Surgical Planning team and join the wider Global Planning and Coordination team.
• Work in a team based environment for efficient and timely processing of surgical planning requirements.
• Communicate effectively and confidently with surgeons and other allied health professionals as well as integrate effectively with our Sales Force.
• Support Regulatory, Marketing and Product Management with technical information and expertise as needed.
• Coordinate with inhouse manufacturing and 3D Printing vendors.

About You

This specialist position will ideally suit somebody with prior experience in 3D Modelling of anatomy for surgical planning.

• Ideally a Biomedical Engineering degree (but not mandatory) or similar
• Advanced level knowledge of 3D CAD modelling
