Arthrex is a global medical device company focused on Helping Surgeons Treat Their Patients Better™. We're seeking a talent acquisition (TA) specialist to provide end-to-end recruitment solutions to attract and hire the most capable employees for our growing teams in Australia and New Zealand. 

 

This will initially be employed on a contract basis for 6 or 12 months, due to positive company growth leading to increasing hiring volumes.  Our last two permanent additions to the TA team initially joined as contractors, and there's every chance this iniital contract could lead to a longer-term or permanent opportunity too. 

 

About the Position: 

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work closely with our people leaders and the HR team to execute against hiring plans and find top talent that exemplifies our value-based culture across the business:

  • Continuously develop and improve our talent acquisition processes and systems
  • Actively source through a wide variety of channels e.g., employee referrals, talent pools & databases, personal networks, job boards, social media, tertiary institutions, etc. 
  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  • Provide reasonable feedback in a timely manner and respond in a timely manner to internal and external applicants
  • Build and create a positive candidate experience
  • Develop creative ways to enhance Arthrex’s employer brand and recruitment initiatives
  • Establish professional relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders e.g. hiring managers, candidates, TA & HR colleagues, TA vendors (e.g., recruitment agency partners, tech vendors, job boards, etc.)
  • Have input into the evaluation of vendors

 

About You:

  • A proven recruitment specialist experienced in strategic sourcing, hiring processes & policies, recruitment marketing and employer branding 
  • Adaptable to develop and execute hiring strategies across a wide variety of vacancies e.g., sales, marketing, operations, finance, IT, etc. 
  • Excellent assessment and selection skills
  • Experience with relevant recruitment tools and vendor management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: able to form strong working relationships and credibility with a wide variety of stakeholders
